Worthy Words 3

Worthy Words (June 16)

May “the God of peace… equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen” (Hebrews 13:20-21 NASB).

HAPPINESS IS…? | CHERYL BALCOM

I am most happy when I am . . .Well, the Sunday School answer I felt I should give was, ‘when I am in God’s Word.’ And this would not be a lie. WHAT WE REGARD AS LITTLE | GLENNA MARSHALL

“Sometimes I think it might be easier to be faithful to Christ when life is hard…We like the dramatic stories of walls falling and dry river crossings but deemphasize the daily obedience to God’s Word because that’s not as gripping or faith-growing.”

I would go anywhere, do anything, I vowed. And I did. It was difficult and painful and exhilarating and beautiful, while it lasted. But somehow I didn’t expect it all to come down to this.”

HOW TO READ THE BIBLE | STEPHEN KNEALE

The shortest post I’ve read and recommended in ages. “I think, armed with those eight questions, anybody could lead a fairly credible Bible study… and get to the heart of whatever it is God wants us to understand.”

Thank you for considering these words worthy of your time! To God be all the glory!
